The Rolex Submariner 16610LN is now a discontinued model replaced by the 126610LN, this watch is loved by collectors as the first Submariner to feature the ceramic bezel insert. One of the most famous diving watches, the Rolex Submariner was launched in 1953 and was one of the first watches to be able to guarantee waterproofness to a depth of 100 metres (330ft). The introduction of the Rolex 116610LN model marked a continuation of this innovation, featuring enhanced technical specifications and an updated design.

This pre-owned Rolex Submariner sports a robust 40mm case crafted from Rolex's proprietary Oystersteel, ensuring high resistance against corrosion.

The 116610LN features a deep black gloss dial and black Cerachrom bezel, with the insert being made from Rolex's own scratch resistant and UV resistant ceramic insert. The bezel is unidirectional with a 60 minute scale that is used for divers to accurately track their dive/air time.

The dial of the Rolex Submariner Date 116610LN was a change from the 16610 with larger luminescent hour markers and hands, constructed from 18ct gold to precent any tarnishing. Every hour marker is filled with Rolex Chromalight long lasting blue luminescence, so the watch can be seen in the darkest ocean conditions.

This Rolex Submariner 116610LN is fitted with the Rolex automatic 3135 calibre self-winding mechanical movement. This movement has featured in many of Rolex's watches with a date functionality including the Datejust. The 3135 movement has stood the test of time and been used for decades by Rolex.

The Rolex Submariner 116610LN comes equipped with the upgraded and safer clasp and solid link Oyster bracelet. The double fold clasp prevents accidental opening. The bracelet also features the Rolex glide lock expansion system, that allows for finer adjustment of the bracelet length without the need for any tools.
